J. Bermejo Duarte is an Architect, designer, researcher, and educator. He is a co-founder of the design agency MuakStudio and director of LAAND — Laboratory of Anthropocenic Narratives & Design, a space for research and practice focused on critical design, design fiction, and the construction of post-natural imaginaries. His background is rooted in architecture, where he specialized in ephemeral, interactive, and exhibition-based interventions, later evolving toward service design, design research, and futures studies. He is the author of the speculative research and practice project Hybrid Creatures of the Anthropocene, where he develops entities, artifacts, and narratives as tools for critical reflection and futures-oriented design.
